This according to Sanspo:
Yoshida Kiju's "Kagami no Onnatachi"("Women In The Mirror"), about three
generations of women in Hiroshima, will be screened as a special invitation
film at Cannes. Jia Zhangke's "Unknown Pleasures" ("Ao no Inazuma"), which
screens in competition, was co-produced by Office Kitano, and Kitano's
former assistant director Shimizu Hiroshi's "Chicken Heart", his second
film, will play at the International Critics' Week.
Also, Uchida Masaaki's "Soshu no Neko" presented by the Film School of
Tokyo is part of the Cinefondation line-up, and a restored print of
Kurosawa Akira's "Kagemusha" will also be on show.
