Dear List,

I hope some members find interest in the following three
questions:

1- I don't know how statistically sound my observation is,
but I have noticed a decline in the American "catastrophy
movie" phenomenon (volcanos, earthquakes, floods...) since
September 11. Do people here agree with me? And did anyone
notice an effect of the attacks on Japanese cinema?

2- Does anyone know of any Japanese film that dealt
directly with the attacks other than Imamura's
participation in "9:11" ?

3- Did the period following Aum's Sarin attacks see less
horror movies in japan that usual? Any other noticeable
effects at the time?
