To whom it may concern,

I am an MA student in Social Anthropology at Goldsmiths College,
and have been working on my dissertation about the reception of 
Japanese films in Britain.

I understand that the people who participate in the midnight eye mailing list are the people who are big Japanese film fans. 
I wondered if it would be possible to randomly send some of your members a set of 5 short questions through your mailing list. 




the questions are as follows:

 1) what is your nationality?
 2) what was the first Japanese film you\\\\\\\'ve ever seen?
 3) what impression did you get when you first saw it?
 4) do the media and PR influence your  decision to see Japanese films
    or not, If so why, if not - why not?
 5) what do you think about the violent films from Japan?
