Procedure For Submitting Screenplay in Japan

Although I've encountered plenty of books and websites explaining how
one goes about "selling" a screenplay in America (i.e., contacting an
agent, who in turn approaches movie directors and producers on behalf of
the screenplay author), I haven't come across any similar materials
explaining how to market a screenplay for production in Japan. Do such
materials exist in either English or Japanese? How do Japanese
screenwriters go about getting their work turned into films? Thanks.
