On the topic of talks about Barbara Hammer's Devotion (which did screen in quite a few festivals in North America and Europe (Creteil?) in 2000, before premiering in Japan at the Yamagata International Documentary Film Festival last October):

The next issue of Documentary Box, the YIDFF journal of recent trends and happenings in documentary, will include a discussion of Devotion with directors Sato Makoto and Ann Hui and KineJapan's own Abe Mark Nornes. The issue should be out in early April, so please look for it.
