Asian films in Rotterdam 2

And of course CHICKEN RICE WAR isn't a European premiere having received
it's international premiere at Udine in Italy last April. And ONE FINE
SPRING DAY was in competition in Tokyo so that isn't an international
premiere. And before anybody wastes any euro, I have to warn that
competition film WEEKEND PLOT gets the medal for my worst film of 2001.
The marketing concept behind it is that it's the first mainland film in
which the actors wear swimming costumes for the entire length of the
film. Finally, any truth to the rumour that Yukisada Isao's TORCH SONG
was rejected by Rotterdam because of its lesbian content?!
