"Go" wins at Palm Springs

Isao Yukisada's "Go" seems to be picking up a bit of momentum in the 
lead-up to the Oscars.  It won the top award at last Sunday's Palm Springs 
Festival (California, US). This from Reuters:

"The FIPRESCI Critics Award, handed out by a five-member jury representing 
the International Federation of Cinematographic Press, was drawn from the 
field of foreign Oscar submissions. Of the 51 pictures in this year's Oscar 
race, 42 screened at the festival."

Footnote: Best foreign language film at the Golden Globes went to Bosnia's 
"No Man's Land".
