Miramax deal with Kitamura Ryuhei

Variety reports that Miramax have signed Kitamura Ryuhei on a first-look 
deal.  No mention of ALIVE In the article which should be completed by 
now.  First-look deals with Miramax are often meaningless so take this 
with a pinch of salt.  It's more usual for Miramax to pick up a film and 
do a first-look deal at the same time, as with directors of FOREVER 
FEVER (Singapore) and MY WIFE IS A GANGSTER (Korea).  Former hasn't 
worked since.
