Ninja Assassin Movie - 1970's

I am looking for information (title) on a Japanaese samurai/ninja movie I 
saw in the mid 1970's in California. It was a movie about two armies who 
were fighting, and one scene showed one ninja army sneaking into the enemy's 
camp at night to slit the throats of all the sleeping warriors. The camera 
angle was high up looking down at the ninjas as they silently entered the 
dormitory.

Any leads appreciated.
