Kurosawa documentary

adam low's kurosawa documentary will be shown at the hong kong film festival
which opened the day before yesterday. in the secion 'filmmakers and
filmmaking' two other documentaries deal with japanese film: barbara
hammer's 'devotion' and brigitte prinzgau-podgorschek's new portrait of
donald richie 'sneaking in. donald richie's life in film'.
it is interesting that all three documentaries are made by non-japanese.
chris markers wonderful film about tarkovsky, that ted mentioned, is also
part of the programme.
