>Just got my June/July schedule for the Planet Plus One screening room in Umeda and they'll be showing the hard to see >Maria no Oyuki from June 3 until June 9. Weekdays will be one showing at 7:30, 8th and 9th will be part of a program that >also includes Hototogisu, Haha, and Taki no Shiraito. 

Most of these films are going to get at least a passing mention in Midnight Eye's upcoming feature on silent cinema and interview with Sawato Midori, which unfortunately is scheduled for after these screenings at the beginning of July. I've only seen fragments of Mari No Yuki (The Missing Ball), but this one in particular looks very interesting. Also, for all Tokyo dwellers, Sawato Midori is giving a benshi performance of Mito Komon (The Story of Raikunitsugu, 1934) next Thursday 30th May for the Friends of Silent Cinema.
