Middle grounds - theaters that show Japanese films

Michael, I was just reading your post and thinking about Tokyo,
remembering my time in Osaka. In Osaka, it seemed that in order
to see any Japanese movie in the theater, besides the Miyazaki or
big anime films (or stuff like Gojoe or Battle Royale, big-name
stuff), you had to go to this little "artsy" theater
underneath the LOFT in Umeda. I saw Party 7 and a few others
there, and every time I looked up Japanese films in the
magazines, that seemed to be the only place they were playing.
I take it Tokyo has more theaters that actually show Japanese
films. That sound really nice. I'm in the middle of job-hunting
right now, since I'll be graduating in June. I'm aiming for Tokyo,
if possible...
