Next Wednesday, May 29, the documentary SNEAKING IN. DONALD RICHIE'S LIFE IN
FILM by Austrian filmmaker PRINZGAU/podgorschek will be presented at the
Austrian Filmmuseum starting at 21:00. Donald Richie is coming to Vienna on
this occasion. After the screening there will be a discussion with him and
the filmmaker as well as a reception in the nearby Palmenhaus. He will also
give a brief introduction to Oshima Nagisa's SEISHUN ZANKOKU MONOGATARI,
that is screened at 19:00 (www.filmmuseum.at).
On June 6, Donald Richie will give a lecture at the Institute of East Asian
Studies, Vienna University, organized by the AAJ about ONE HUNDRED YEARS OF
JAPANESE FILM based on his recent book (www.aaj.at).
