michael, i'm afraid i was not specific enough. there will be no new
dvd-release of tajiri's film - the dvd of uplink was released only a couple
of month ago - but the film will have a new cinema-release. this so-called
shinpan-practice of changing titles and re-releasing old films as 'new
films' is quite common with pink eiga. about half of shintoho's annual films
are in fact re-releases. given the sparse information about the films it is
difficult to know whether a film is new or only the title.
to add to the confusion many films have different titles when released on
video or dvd. the video-title of "OL no rabu jusu" was "hataraku oneesama -
aftaa 5 wa gaman dekinai". in general the release titles are decided by the
distributors, while the directors prefer the working titles. the working
title of "OL no rabu jusu" was "fuwafuwa to beddo no ue ni". the english
title 'rustling in bed' comes from of this working title.
by the way, "OL no rabu jusu/rustling in bed" is among the 5 pink eiga dvds
that screen edge released in england. they are supposed to have english
subtitles.

broadcast on may 20, 1995.
