An additional bit of information on Adachi: the stock of
film that he shot over more than 20 years in Lebanon was
completely destroyed by two Israeli raids on Lebanon, one
in the 1982 and the other in 1996. The stock contained
extensive and rare shootings of the Israeli siege of
Beirut in 1982.
Bits and pieces of Adachi's work could be found imbedded
in PFLP and other Palestinian groups' propaganda films,
but Adachi constantly gave the Palestinian organizations
full and free access to his footage which makes it very
difficult to know which shots are his.
