In a project somewhat reminiscent of the Hama Mike TV drama, TBS 
announced it will be broadcasting a late night drama directed by 24 
different directors. Each episode will only be 5 minutes long and will be 
broadcast at 12:50 pm on Wednesday nights (Thursday morning, to be 
exact). All 24 episodes will be assembled at the end to form a two-hour 
movie that will be released in theaters. Producer Akimoto Yasushi will 
direct the first episode, with the names of Takenaka Naoto and Ishii 
Tatsuya being mentioned as other possible directors.

The entire story will be largely written by Akimoto and will feature 
three new actors. Each episode will be shot on film. The 30 minute 
broadcast will feature not only the episode, but also scenes on how the 
episode was made.

The first broadcast will be this week.
