teruo ishii

hi, 

since i have seen teruo ishii's short 6 films retrospective at the far east
film festival this year 
in udine, i was trying to watch more of his work- bud luck. teruo ishii is
one of those japanese cult cinema directors from whom u get nearly nothing on
dvd or tape (subtitelt). except the super giant series, which has been
released in the US. well, certainly i was able track some ... with eng. subs.
maybe mark schilling can give us some more information bout the future
possibility of a dvd release? 

his newest film M?juu tai Issunb?shi (2001), starring Shinya Tsukamoto (!)
and the great Tetsuro Tamba 
is written by edogawa rampo and a remake of Yasuzo Masumura's  M?juu (1969).
well this mixture of involved people makes this one really interesting ... 
maybe anybody on the list has some comments on ishiis work and his/her
experience with the king of cult?
