Which of these have you seen?  

I have heard mixed reports on "Vengeance is Mine". (I know people who are 
satsified with this, but have not seen it). The Tora-San films don't seem 
problematic at all. I have also heard criticism of Panorama's "Scene at the Sea" -- 
but is not part of this series.
