Wow, Karen, if it had only been three months ago I'd
have gladly taken you up as your housesitter.  I spent
several days in Kamakura in October and loved it--and
had quite an adventure finding Kurosawa's grave. 
Alas...

Hope to return there next fall, so keep me in mind if
you need a housesitter at that time.
