alex, the figures were announced on january 30 by the motion picture
producers association of japan (niho eiga seisakusha renmei, or short:
eiren), an organisation of the four major studios shochiku, toho, toei and
daiei. the statistics of every year's second february edition of kinema
junpa are based on eiren's data. the main figures are available at eiren's
