Dear Kinejapaners,

The current edition of Midnight Eye contains an extensive spotlight on my 
upcoming book on the films of Takashi Miike. The book is entitled Agitator - 
The Cinema of Takashi Miike, and will be published by England's FAB Press on 
July 21.

Miike has always been an interesting source for quite polarised debate here 
(I still vividly recall the discussion on Ichi the Killer!), so I look 
forward to hearing what people think of it.

And, to make this message even more like shameless self-promotion ;), the 
new edition of Midnight Eye also contains an interview with Yusuke Iseya and 
Takamasa Kameishi, the youthful creative pair behind the Koreeda-produced 
Kakuto (which if I'm not mistaken is released in Japan this month).
