An academic book on the great actress Wakao Ayako, entitled _Eiga joyu 
Wakao Ayako_, has just been published from Misuzu Shobo. It contains two 
very long essays by Yomota Inuhiko and Saito Ayako, a long interview with 
Wakao, and a complete annotated filmography by Shimizu Miyoko. There is 
also a lot of discussion about her collaborations with Masumura Yasuzo, 
so those interested in his work should check out this text as well.
