Aside from the typical American military bit parts in
films like "Kanzo Sensei," there have been some
depictions of Americans in fairly recent movies like
"Swallowtail Butterfly," "Stereo Future," "Beat,"
Kitano's "Brother," as well as Kurosawa's "Rhapsody in
August." I'm sure there's quite a few others, but
those are the ones that spring readily to mu mind.
