Dear KineJapaners,

Thank you, Markus, for the whereabouts of Kurosawa's "Nichinichi Heian" 
scenario.  I am conducting a research on Yamamoto Shugoro and am hoping to 
eventually write on Shugoro-shosetsu/Kurosawa-movies relationship.  

Thank you, MItch, Martin, Tom, Joanne, Michael, Aaron, and 
Tetsuwan at bellsouth.net, for showing me a variety of Japanese films that 
depict Americans/foreigners.  

I really appreciate all of your help!  Given the number of films you all 
mentioned, I wonder whether anybody has conducted research and have written 
books/articles on the issue of the image of Amrcians/foreigners in Japanese 
films.  I am trying to "amass" gender images of Americans in Japanese films 
and Japanese in American films.  Again, hopefully, eventually, I would like 
to write on this issue as well, even though, I am not familiar with film 
theories at this point.
