Jigokuhen

One more thing, quick question:

I was reading Akutagawa Ryunosuke's Jigokuhen yesterday, and I started to 
get the strangest feeling that I had "seen" the story before somewhere.  I'm 
not sure, but I think it was part of an old Toei pink film, perhaps Tokugawa 
onna keibatsushi.  I may be thinking of more than one film though...  Does 
anyone know what I'm talking about, and is there any direct or indirect 
link?  Unfortunately these university computers won't let me input Japanese 
so I'm having a little trouble searching for myself.
