Accomodation in Yamagata

Hello,
I?m wondering if anyone knows of any weekly-mansion type places in Yamagata..
I?m going up for the festival the 10-16 october, and thinking that
accomodation cheaper than hotel rates would be a plus, given that it?s a
week long. Also, having a kitchen would be nice for socializing...Am also
curious if there may be cheap ry?kans, hostels, hammocks, etc within walking
distance of the festivities.
