self-introduction

I'll introduce myself also.

I'm currently doing an MA at SOAS, London in Japanese Studies. My main focus 
is on Japanese film and I'm just about to embark on a disseration on crime 
in Japanese period films in the 60s and early 70s (time frame still 
undecided).

I also have a strong interest in java programming and the web and at some 
point plan to start my own Japanese film website with discussion boards to 
complement some of the wonderful exisitng sites (MidnightEye being a good 
example).
