Jason,

Thanks for this information.  It has some great leads.  I wanted to mention
that it is also interesting that this is not in some particularistic way,
Japanese.  The animation-by-train makes visible an intersection of 'new'
media and urban spaces that leads to questions about contemporary
transformations in spectatorship and urban experience (among other things).
It makes me wonder what Japan might be in this sort of media space.
