There are a bunch on the Red Line in Boston now -- advertising Royal Carribean cruises and Target. It has been interesting to observe the excitement at the novelty when people first saw them, followed by the boredom on the part of frequent commuters after a few weeks. Since the Target one I see all the time is at a place where the train often slows down when the trains aren't running very smoothly, the speed of the "movie" on a given day is an indicator of subway efficiency. I realized that I would feel all cheerful when it ran by very fast. Quite odd.
