Several great films on Ireland -- I'm surprised no one has mentioned them
yet:
The Informer -- the great 1935 Irish Revolution film with Victor McLaglen
The FIeld -- with Richard Harris
The Quiet Man -- with John Wayne & Maureen O'Hara
And the great Robert Flaherty documantary:
Man of Aran
There must be many, many more films about the Emerald Isle -- but these are
among the BEST!

Dear All,
a friend asked me if I knew films that treat Ireland and
the Irish history. I only remembered "Ryan's daughter"...
If somebody can help, please answer me off list. Thank
you!
