I have to say that the Center for Japanese Studies does a great job,
your fall Japanese film series at Lorch is always something to look
forward to.

Becoming a known quantity never hurts. But more than that, our staff
at the Center for Japanese Studies does it!
When I do do this kind of thing, I actually find it kind of
pleasurable. But as you know, I've always loved film festival work.
Even when getting your hands on things is a hassle, there is great
pleasure in bringing groups of people together to commune in the
theater.
