profile in American popular film has become very conspicuous of late. 
The Donald Keene Center of Japanese Culture is pleased to sponsor an 
evening of informal conversation on the significance of these 
contemporary trends in Hollywood moviemaking and about the historical, 
cultural, and esthetic issues that they raise.
