Moscow new director

It was reported that Takahata Hideta won a new director's prize at the 
Moscow International Film Festival for his debut film Hotel Venus. 
Takahata has mainly worked on TV with such pop idol shows as Asayan and 
Smap x Smap. Moscow seems to have taken a liking to Japanese film and 
has given an award to a Japanese work every year for the last 4 or 5 
years.
