The law in Japanese film

One of my favorites is Oshima Nagisa's Death by Hanging (Koshikei),
which would probably qualify though not about lawyers per se.

And since this is my first post...
I am a grad student at the University of Michigan writing my
dissertation on cultural representations of the great Kanto Earthquake
of 1923. I have a broad interest in Japanese film and film history,
both of the Tisho era and beyond.
