I thought I'd write you directly, but then decided there are some on 
the list who might want to know that one of the best video stores in 
Japan is in front of the station in Waseda (kitty-corner from the 
liquor store). Considering its size, the selection is amazing. You can 
find two shelves worth of ATG, a bookcase of the 1990s films that 
regularly come up in KineJapan, and more than one wall of Japanese 
films (mostly arranged by major directors).

[They also have most of the major works of Truffaut, Godard and other 
important New Wave figures.]
