Chihiro compromises in court

Some of you may remember the hubbub when Sen to Chihiro no kamikakushi 
(Spirited Away) was released in Japan on DVD: many complained that the 
image was too red.

Well, several consumers sued Walt Disney Japan, the sales company, over 
the affair and a settlement was just announced in the papers. Full 
details have still not been released, but in exchange for the 
plaintiffs dropping the suit, Walt Disney will apparently apologize to 
consumers for causing problems with the color and in the future state 
clearly when it has adjusted the color of a film when releasing it on 
DVD.
