There are a number of such films. Probably the most infamous early 
example is Joseph von Sternberg's 1954 film Anatahan (all the dialogue 
is in Japanese, although Sternberg adds English narration). Then 
there's Claude Gagnon's 1979 Keiko (he apparently has a new Japanese 
film coming out, called Revival Blues). And Jean-Pierre Limosin's Tokyo 
Eyes and John Williams' Firefly Dreams. Both of the latter two are 
available on DVD in the US.
