Thanks for that list, Sharon! Pia online (www.pia.co.jp) does have a
searchable list of currently running films, but the print version might be
better exactly because you don't have to "search."

As for all night screenings, sure some use them as a cheap way to spend the
night (a very short night, ending around 4 or 5 a.m.), but people do
actually go to see the films. I've been to several, and they were usually
around 1/3 full. There was one Crayon Shinchan film all nighter at Shin
Bungeiza a few years ago that sold out before I was able to get a ticket.

Did anyone else see the Japanese-dubbed version of "Bowling for Columbine"
on TV last night?
