I just read in the news that there is a film component to the 
Livedoor-Fuji TV battle. Apparently Toho, which already owned 5.76% of 
Fuji TV (making it the second largest owner of Fuji TV stock next to 
Nippon Hoso), has made a deal with a securities company to acquire more 
stock, to boost their ownership to 7.19%, and thus participate in the 
battle against Livedoor.

Toho has long had a close relationship with Fuji, being the primary 
company to distribute the many films that Fuji TV produces.
