Japanese Religion in Film

Hello all, 

Kurosawa's Rashomon is the name of the Shinto temple where the story is told.

The pendant the little girl wears in Gamera: Defender of The Universe 
resembles The Curved Jewelry of The Emperor a shinto artifact. 

Both Gamera and Godzilla are representative of Gods that protect the earth 
and mankind from both outside invaders and in some cases, from itself.
