Japanese "fish out of water" comedies?

Some of Sabu's films, like _Drive_, _Monday_, and _Dangan Runner_, have
this type of set-up, although the situations are not necessarily as
"complete" as that of _Shall We Dansu?_, focussing on the misfortunes of
one character on one given day, rather than on that character's way of
life. Sabu's work can be found on DVD with fairly good subtitles.
