New Kurosawa film

I just stumbled on this bit of info in the IMDB. Kurosawa Akira's son 
will be directing a script penned by his father. The title is Oni, and 
it's due in 2006. The database lists only this info:

A blond-haired samurai in ancient Japan discovers his destiny.

Think the success of Zatoichi earned it's green light?
