Julie Dreyfus became somewhat famous in Japan as the host for NHK's
French conversation show in the late 1980s. She parlayed that into a
career as a talento, even being the "image character" for one of the
major banks. She has appeared in small roles in a couple of Japanese
films and has written several books of essays, mainly about Paris. She
has also worked as a model and an interior designer. Her mother is the
French actress Pascale Audret.
