I must say, I really liked World's End/Girlfriend. It's a sort of slacker
movie starring Mami Nakamura, who also starred in the not dissimilar Tokyo
Trash Baby. I haven't seen any of her other films, but it seems Kazama
Shiori is a really nice director, but makes the kind of films that never get
shown outside of the festival circuit, and never make it to DVD release. I
heard her previous film Mars Canon was quite similar to her latest. Has
anyone seen any of her earlier stuff, like the PIA short films?
