My apologies for not sending this all in one go, but there's also the four Eko Eko Azarak films, based on the Shinichi Koga manga series:

  1. Eko Eko Azarak ('Wizard of Darkness', dir. Shimako Sato, 1995)
  2. Eko Eko Azarak II ('Birth of the Wizard', dir. Shimako Sato, 1996)
  3. Eko Eko Azarak III ('Misa the Dark Angel', dir. Katsuhito Ueno, 1998)
  4. Eko Eko Azarak (dir. Kosuke Suzuki, 2001) (not officially released with Eng subtitles)

Two short-lived TV series also appeared in 1997 and 2004.

  Jim.

And are there some live-action horror films based on manga rather than on anime?
