Keisuke Kinoshita and sexuality

I always thought it was an open secret since, for a time, he lived with 
his lover. I don't have Ishihara Ikuko's book on Kinoshita with me, but 
she does analyze Kinoshita's films through his homosexuality,so there 
is also a precedent in the critical world for talking about this.
