Japan Society NY "Lolita" package

Japan Society NY has been showing Japanese films at their premise,
including last week's successful showing of "Always - Sunset on Third
Street", in cooperation with Grady Hendrix's Subway Cinema.

They are currently planning a series called "Lolita in Full Bloom: 1980s
Irresistible Heroines" in fall. It includes:

Sailor Suite and Machine Gun
Typhoon Club
Exchange Students
The Little Girl Who Conquered Time
The Wild Daisy
W's Tragedy

Japan Society is currently looking for other organizations who are
interested in showing this package. You still have to pay the film
rental fees, but shipping/handling cost can be dramatically saved, and
JS is providing all the English subtitles and promotion materials. In
return, JS can reduce their own S/H cost by sharing with others, and
more effectively utilize those films to promote Japanese films in the
U.S. They wish to make this sharing scheme into a regular practice, and
I am helping their marketing effort.

I am personally interested in finding a partner in San Francisco Bay
Area, so I can watch them. ^_^ But of course, they welcome any other
places in the U.S.

If you are interested, or have any tips as to whom I can talk to etc,
please let me know.

series and last week's "Always" showing, my interview article with
Director Takashi Yamazaki, and Japan Society NY's Website.
