Hi Jasper,
In Japan Pony Canyon has video rights (having released
several different editions over the past few years).
Toho-Towa had the original theatrical distribution rights
-- I assume they still hold them.
But you might be better off trying G.C.T.H.V.
(Gaumont/Columbia Tristar Home Video) in France.
Maybe someone else on here knows more...
