Although it is not the main motif, food works as a real detonator in the
story of Kore-eda's <http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0408664/> Dare mo
shiranai. From another perspective, it is interesting too how Ozu uses food
in almost all his talkie films.

Hello All,

I'm in the process of doing some research on Oshii Mamoru's most recent

film "Tachiguishi Retsuden," which has brought up a general film

question -- what Japanese fiction films are there that deal with food

of any variety as a major motif throughout the film (other than

"Tampopo")?

Thanks!

== Brian
