If you can read Japanese, these two publications are essential:

Yomota Inuhiko, ed. Yoshida Kiju no zentaizo (Sakuhinsha, 2004)

Volume 36, Number 5 of Yuriika (April 2003): special issue (rinji 
zokango) on Yoshida Kiju

Both deal with Yoshida in general and have sections on that film in 
particular.
